Welcome to the City of Fort Worth Aviation Systems, home to three world-class airports:

Each airport offers a diverse industrial base, which makes it an attractive location for a variety of businesses.

Both Meacham International and Spinks Airports provide regional aviation services for air charter, corporate, business and recreational flyers. The airports feature full service FBOs, multiple maintenance facilities, flight schools, on site rental car facilities, and hotel facilities only minutes away. Owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by privately-held Alliance Air Services, Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport provides a state-of-the-art infrastructure servicing air cargo, corporate aviation and military flight needs.

Application for City of Fort Worth Boards and Commissions

The City of Fort Worth seeks applications from qualified individuals to fill vacancies on several boards and commissions. 

  • Aviation Advisory Board. Members advise on plans of any extensions, improvements, and additions to the airports system and its master plan, review the Aviation Department’s annual operating budget, and other duties related to the city’s airport system.

Roger Venables

Aviation Director

Roger Venables is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with 34 years of experience in government administration.

He has served as Assistant Director of Property Management for the City of Fort Worth and Co-Chair for Fort Worth’s 2018 Bond Program Prioritization Committee and Chair of the 2022 Bond Program Prioritization Committee.
