General Litigation; General Services

Amy Pletscher joined the City Attorney’s Office in January 2022. Her primary responsibilities include prosecuting violations of the Texas Transportation Code, Health and Safety Code, Education Code, Fort Worth City Code, and Class C misdemeanors arising from the Texas Penal Code. In June 2022, Amy was promoted to Assistant City Attorney in the Litigation Division. Ms. Pletscher also assists the General Services section with Public Information Requests and participates monthly in Building Standards Commission hearings.

Prior Experience

Prior to practicing law, Amy worked as a sworn law enforcement officer in southern California, during which she attended law school. After passing the Texas bar exam, Amy clerked for a District Court Judge in the State of Minnesota and practiced civil litigation at the Texas Attorney General’s Office before joining us at the City of Fort Worth.
