Leslie L. Hunt joined the City Attorney’s Office in March 2023.   Her primary responsibilities include the oversight and legal review of real estate projects involving federal housing development and grant funds received from the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development and administered by the Neighborhood Services Department.

Prior Experience

Before joining the City, Leslie served as the Civil Division Chief in the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.  She was the first woman appointed to serve in that position which manages the 36 assistant district attorneys who serve as General Counsel for the County.  Leslie spent 15 years in private practice before becoming a government attorney.
