Find Happiness and Joy!

The Kingdom of Bhutan, a country in South Asia on the eastern edge of the Himalayas, celebrates National Day on Dec. 17, marking the coronation of the country’s first head of state, Ugyen Wangchuck, in 1907. Observances include a procession and a public address by the current ruler.

Renowned for its happy people, we will observe the day by learning some of the Bhutanese people’s secrets to happiness and practicing skills to use anytime, anywhere. Explore breathing techniques, take time to mediate and record your thoughts in a journal as we enjoy a safe, welcoming space to make room for a moment of calm and focus in your day.

As part of the cultural fiber of Fort Worth, your library celebrates rich traditions in all forms. We designed this program specifically for adults.
