Community Action Partners

The City of Fort Worth’s Community Action Partners (CAP) serves as the Community Action Agency for Tarrant County and provides comprehensive services to economically disadvantaged individuals, families and the elderly. CAP changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live.

Community Action Partners is funded through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and administers the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) and the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG).

Through CAP programs, residents learn to become financially independent, reducing and eliminating their reliance on social services.
