Neighborhood Services


The Neighborhood Services Department strengthens families and neighborhoods through social services, community development and affordable housing programs. Neighborhood Services consolidates services and programs that focus on building better neighborhoods and improving quality of life for residents. The Neighborhood Services Department encompasses housing, administration of state and federally funded social services programs, public education to increase safety awareness and neighborhood code compliance and beautification. 


All neighborhoods have a high quality of life.

Victor T. Turner

Victor Turner is Neighborhood Services Department director and comes to Fort Worth from Little Rock, Arkansas, where he was the director of Housing and Neighborhood Programs.

Turner holds a Bachelor of Science in public administration from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is married and has two children.
