Lake Arlington Master Plan

The Lake Arlington Master Plan establishes guidelines and standards to protect water quality within the Lake Arlington watershed, which feeds a drinking water supply reservoir that serves over 500,000 people.

In addition, the plan outlines a vision for future development around Lake Arlington, much of which is likely to occur within the City of Fort Worth.

The plan identifies potential water quality impacts of future development, examines recreation and open space opportunities around the lake, and offers recommendations on how to implement the plan.

The Fort Worth City Council endorsed the plan in 2011.
