Roadwork near City Hall

In March, April and May, utility crews will be working on two planned storm drain projects. One is at Jennings Avenue and Texas Street, and the other is the intersection of West 10th Street and Monroe Street. Both sites are close to City Hall.

For the Jennings Avenue and Texas Street project, work is slated to start approximately Monday, March 21, weather permitting. Construction is expected to last about two months.

For the West 10th Street and Monroe Street project, work is projected to begin approximately Monday, April 25, weather permitting. Construction is expected to last between three and four weeks.

Key points to keep in mind:

  • Sidewalks and streets will remain open during the day.
  • Metered parking spaces will be occasionally inaccessible during construction.
  • Access to local businesses, buildings and residents will be maintained throughout construction.
  • Lane closures are expected, but traffic will be maintained.
  • Traffic control signs will be placed in advance.
