Provide feedback on new Diamond Hill Community Center design

Published on October 07, 2020

The Fort Worth Park and Recreation Department will conduct a second public meeting to present the design of the new Diamond Hill Community Center to the public.

The virtual meeting will be held via WebEx. The meeting number (access code) is 126 891 5479; the meeting password is W6UeQfJr9a6. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22. Residents and community center patrons are encouraged to participate in the design and building process.

The original Diamond Hill community center, 1701 N.E. 36th St., was built in the 1950s. In 1997, a Community Development Block Grant-funded boxing ring was added to the existing building.

The newly-designed community center building will total 25,000 square feet. It will provide spaces for all existing programs and will accommodate new programs.
