Published on October 12, 2020

Do you know the current American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations to reduce the risk of suffocation in infants?

The safety and lives of babies are extremely important, and the Safe Baby Sleep Council strives to save lives by starting the conversation regarding safe sleep environments and answering myths and questions surrounding safe sleep practices.

Join a free virtual Safe Baby Sleep Training from 9-11:30 a.m. Oct. 22. The training is intended for community professionals who work with caregivers or babies. Register online.

The Safe Baby Sleep Council is led by Cook Children’s Medical Center. The organizations that make up the council have been working together to lower Tarrant County’s infant morbidity rates and raise the awareness of safe infant sleep practices.
