Fort Worth Municipal Court releases updated services schedule

The Fort Worth Municipal Court is currently providing walk-in counter service at both service locations:

  • A.D. Marshall Public Safety & Courts Building, 1000 Throckmorton St. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Closed weekends and holidays.
  • Golden Triangle Library, 4264 Golden Triangle Blvd. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, Closed Mondays, weekends and holidays.

All due dates for criminal cases have resumed, including but not limited to:

  • Initial appearance dates (as indicated on the citation).
  • Payment dates (payment plans, extensions, etc.).
  • Deferral dates (driving safety course, other deferrals).
  • Community service.

As of Jan. 11, 2021, the Court has resumed issuing warrants on eligible delinquent Class C Criminal Cases. All persons with an unresolved case in the Fort Worth Municipal Court should contact the Court to discuss their case(s) and available options. If you have hired an attorney for your case, please contact your attorney and not the court.

There are several online options that do not require a visit to the Court:

  • Court on Demand (Virtual Court).
  • Online request.
  • Mail-in.

“Court on Demand is yet another opportunity for the Fort Worth Municipal Court to serve our community,” said Chief Judge Danny Rodgers. “It is our hope that many will take advantage of this opportunity.”

Court Director William F. Rumuly added: “Court on Demand continues building on our goal to meet the public where they are in the community, both in-person and online.”

All dates for civil parking cases have resumed, including but not limited to:

  • Initial appearance dates (as indicated on the citation).
  • Payment due dates.
  • Requesting a hearing.
  • Boot tow eligibility.
  • Appeals.
