The drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Texas Motor Speedway set a record on Wednesday, vaccinating 14,947 people.

The clinic, staffed by Denton County Public Health, City of Fort Worth and FEMA, broke all previous vaccination clinic records at the site. This potentially sets a national record for most vaccines given at a single clinic location in one day.

The site has provided more than 313,000 vaccinations, with a previous record of 12,927 vaccines given on March 30.

All adults in Texas are eligible for the vaccination. Register for a vaccination appointment.

Vaccination clinics are by appointment only. Any Texan can register with any provider across the state. It is acceptable to register with multiple providers through their respective websites.

No-charge COVID-19 testing is available at J.P. Elder Middle School, 709 N.W. 21st St., through the end of April.
