To ensure that access to COVID-19 testing remains widely available, the City of Fort Worth is maintaining a testing site five days a week at the TEXRail North Side Station, 3001 Decatur Ave.

Beginning Aug. 30, the testing site will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The city is partnering with Vault Health. Saliva tests will be administered at no cost, with or without insurance, and appointments are not needed.

To visit the TEXRail North Side site:

  • Drop by 3001 Decatur Ave. Look for the blue and white banner reading COVID TESTING SITE in the north parking area.
  • Stay in your vehicle and call or text a number that will be provided when you arrive.
  • An employee will assist you with the testing process. Avoid eating, drinking, smoking or chewing gum for at least one hour before the test.
  • Test results will be available typically within one day.

The TEXRail testing site is one of eight hosted by the City of Fort Worth that are open to everyone. In addition, COVID-19 testing is easily found at many pharmacies, hospitals, doctor’s offices and private contractor sites; these locations may request health insurance.
