COVID-19 vaccines will be available during a free outdoor concert 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. The “Beat the Heck Out of COVID” concert in the park is billed as a family-friendly evening of musical performing arts and an opportunity for anyone ages 12 and up to get vaccinated for free.

The musical lineup includes jazz, blues and R&B by Rob Holbert Group, Fort Worth Contemporary Adult Division of Gospel Music of America and Jock Lewis on saxophone. Children can enjoy a bounce house, and food trucks will be onsite with food available for purchase. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring family, friends and lawn chairs for music under the stars.

Fort Worth’s MLK Jr. Community Center and park are located at 5565 Truman Drive. To learn more, call 817-392-5966 or visit their webpage.
