City Council preview for Nov. 29

The Fort Worth City Council will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 200 Texas St.

  • The Council will vote on a 10-year tax abatement agreement with Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp. to develop a 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility costing at least $70 million at 5650 Alliance Gateway.
  • Councilmembers will vote on a contract with Hunt/Byrne/Smith for up to $30 million for Phase 1 of the Fort Worth Convention Center renovation and expansion project; and a contract with Byrne Construction Services for up to $15,114,990 for the new Northwest Community Center.
  • Members will consider adopting an ordinance to establish the collection rate for transportation impact fees effective June 1, 2023.
  • Councilmembers will vote on adopting the City’s 2023 state legislative program.
  • The Council will conduct a public hearing on a proposed three-year extension of the City’s curfew ordinance for minors.
  • The Council will vote on adopting the Public Art Annual Work Plan for fiscal year 2023.
  • Members will vote on the schedule of Council work sessions and business meetings for the 2023 calendar year.
  • Proclamations will honor the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign; Bette and Eddie Robinson; and Fort Worth Community Arts Center.
