Fort Worth is ahead of the curve and now has two teqball tables for public use.

Teqball is a popular sport emerging around the world. It is played on a curved table, combining elements of soccer and table tennis. Back and forth, players hit a soccer ball with any part of the body except arms and hands. Teqball can be played between two players as a singles game, or between four players as a doubles game.

Teqball USA has pledged to donate 200 tables over the next two years to communities and major cities across the United States. This week, two Teqone tables were installed in Fort Worth parks:

  • Trinity Park, 2259-2289 River Drive.
  • Marine Park, 303 N.W. 20th St.

The soccer-based sport is played on a curved table and is attracting a new generation of athletes and amateur enthusiasts, called Teqers.
