8th Avenue, Ripy, Bolt and Harwen Terrace Water and Sewer Improvements

Existing water and sanitary sewer mains will be replaced in an area bound by West Biddison Street to the north, Ryan Avenue to the east, West Gambrell Street to the south and Stadium Drive and Fort Worth and Western Railroad to the west. The affected streets include:

• 8^th Avenue from West Biddison Street to West Ripy Street (water);
• West Ripy Street from Ripy Court to Ryan Avenue (water and sewer);
• West Bolt Street from Stadium Drive to Lubbock Avenue (water and sewer);
• And, Harwen Terrace between West Seminary Drive and West Gambrell Street (water).  

The Bolt Street segment will impact traffic around Alice Contreras Elementary School, which is located between Cockrell Avenue and Lubbock Avenue, south of West Bolt Street.

This project is in Council District 9 and may impact the Las Familias neighborhood association, Westcliff neighborhood association and South Hills neighborhood association.
