Cromwell Marine Creek Road Widening

Cromwell Marine Creek Road will be widened to a four-lane divided road. 

The project scope includes:

• Right-of-way acquisition
• Drainage improvements
• Pedestrian lanes
• Street lights
• New bridge over Marine Creek
• Modifications to Marine Creek Parkway roundabout in coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation. 
• Signalized intersections at Bob Hanger/Huffines Boulevard, Bowman Roberts Road, and Crystal Lake Drive

This project is in Council Districts 2 and 7.

December 2024 Project Update

• The drill shaft installation at the Marine Creek bridge has been completed. 
• This month, work to complete franchise utility relocations is underway followed by construction continuing.
• The current traffic pattern will be in effect until Summer 2025.
