Cromwell Marine Creek Road will be widened to a four-lane divided thoroughfare.  The project scope includes right-of-way acquisition, drainage improvements, pedestrian facilities, street lights, a bridge over Marine Creek, modifications to the Marine Creek Parkway roundabout and coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation.  Signalized intersections at Bob Hanger/Huffines Boulevard, Bowman Roberts Road, and Crystal Lake Drive are also part of these improvements.

This project is in Council District 2.

May 2023 Update

• Construction Manager at Risk was selected. Sundt Corporation, Inc. was selected as the contractor for this project. 
• A traffic signal at Crystal Lake Drive has been added to the project 
• Completed phase 1 of constructibility reviews
• Complete right of way acquisition.  Continue with constructibility reviews
• Franchise utility relocation in progress
• CMAR pre-construction phase services in progress
• Estimated construction start is Winter 2024
