Meacham International Airport is home to a variety of corporate, regional and local businesses serving a mix of personal, leisure, military, and business-related travel needs.

 

FBOS

Meacham International Airport has two award-winning Fixed Base Operators (FBOs). FBOs are airport service centers responsible for aircraft services, such as passenger handling, aircraft fueling, parking, maintenance, charters, rentals, flight training and de-icing. FBOs also take care of ground handling services, like towing and baggage handling, and other services, such as car rentals, hotel reservations and pilot lounges.

The airport also has 72 hangars ranging in size from 1200 square feet to 70,000 square feet with narrow and wide-body aircraft capacity. Click here for more information of hangar space availability.

U.S. Customs

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) currently provides services for international general aviation flights at Meacham International Airport. Those interested in utilizing Customs at Meacham Airport should refer to Public Information Notice 19-010 for further information. Meacham is currently a Customs User Fee Airport. Current Rates & Charges can be found here.(PDF, 635KB)

Customs aircraft must park on the designated yellow US Customs parking box currently located on the western area of Apron-B near the Airport Administration Building. The Customs officer will meet you at the aircraft. Airport Fees for use of Customs services will be collected immediately upon landing by City of Fort Worth Airport Operations Personnel. For any questions regarding invoices and fees, please contact the City of Fort Worth Aviation Department at 817-392-5400.

Operations

Helicopter Operations

Meacham International Airport is a strong supporter of helicopter operations and encourages use of the airport by all helicopter users. Meacham provides two helipad landing surfaces on the airport’s west side for helicopter practice. Meacham Airport also allows auto-rotation practice landings on Taxiway-B. No skidding landings are approved on Runway 17/35, these are restricted to Taxiway-B. Please call the airport’s management with any questions.
