Water & Sanitary Sewer Imrpovements

Existing water and sanitary sewer mains will be replaced on streets and in easements in an area bound by Elgin Street to the north, Carverly Drive to the east, Wiman Drive and East Berry Street to the south and Hatcher Street to the west.

The affected streets and easements include:

  • Stalcup Road from Elgin Street to Ramey Avenue (water);
  • Booker T Street from Stalcup Road to Andrew Avenue (water and sewer);
  • Easement between Bong Drive and Capers Avenue from Farrell Lane to Stalcup Road (sewer);
  • Easement between Ramey Avenue and Lester Granger Street  from Farrell Lane to east 605 feet (sewer);
  • Rickenbacker Place from Stalcup Road to Carverly Drive (water);
  • Birdell Court from Carol Avenue to Ramey Avenue (water and sewer);
  • Mount Horum Way from Turner Street to Cox Street (water and sewer);
  • Reed Street from Village Creek Road to East Berry Street (water and sewer);
  • Hatcher Street from East Berry Street to  Wiman Drive (water and sewer).

This project is in Council District 5.

The area includes Dunbar High School, Dunbar Middle School, A.M. Pate Elementary School, Sunrise McMillan Elementary School, Maudrie M. Walter Elementary School, MLK Community Center, East Berry Library, Tarrant County College Opportunity Center Campus, Martin Luther King Park, Bunche Park and Marie F Pate Park.

Construction may impact customers in the Stop 6 Sunrise, Historic Rosedale Park and Historic Stop 6 neighborhood association areas.
