Macy Hill

Macy Hill is the President of Tailwind Philanthropic Advisors, the foundation management division of Tailwind Advisors. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Liberal Arts (MLA), and Bachelor of Science degrees.

In her role as City Councilmember, she is on the Legislative Affairs Committee, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee, and the Ad Hoc Committee on Emergency Response.  She also serves on the Fort Worth Local Development Corporation, Fort Worth Housing Finance Corporation, Research and Innovation Local Government Corporation, Lone Star Local Government Corporation, and the Central City Local Government Corporation.  Macy also serves on the TIF 10 Lone Star, TIF 15 Stockyards, and TIF 16 Veale Ranch.  And, is on the board for the Crime Control Prevention District (CCPD).

As an active member of the North Texas community, Macy serves on the Board of Trustees for Texas Christian University, is President of The Cowtown Marathon, and is on the board of directors for the Healing Shepherd Clinic, the Fort Worth Sports Commission, and the Trail Drive Management Board for Dickies Arena.  Macy also represents Fort Worth on the Regional Coordination Committee for the Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base.

Macy is a past president of the Fort Worth Delta Gamma Alumni Association. She has served in numerous leadership roles for local and state-wide charities. She was appointed in 2013 by Governor Perry to the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners. In 2010, Macy was a Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 honoree. She and her husband, James, have two teenage sons.
