City Manager's Office

The City of Fort Worth employs a Council-Manager form of government. Under this model, legislative authority and policy direction are vested in the Mayor & City Council. he Mayor & Council appoint a professional City Manager who is charged with executing their legislative decisions, implementing policy objectives, and managing the City’s daily operations. Several Assistant City Managers report to the City Manager and oversee a portfolio of City Departments.
