Alcohol Permit/Liquor License - TABC certification

The City of Fort Worth has an Alcohol Permitting process that must happen before the City Secretary will sign off on a TABC application. 

 Please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Complete the Location Verification/Distant Check with Development Services located on the 5th Floor:

    Alcohol Permit Location Verification form can be submitted online https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/departments/finance/treasury/alcohol-permit
  2. Once the location verification/distance check is complete, complete the Billing Acknowledgement form with Revenue located on the 5th Floor – Central Cashier:For processing the permit fees remotely email the Revenue Office the full TABC application and receipt for the alcohol distance check to TreasuryRevenue@fortworthtexas.gov.

  3. Bring the original TABC documents, Alcohol Permit Location Verification, receipts from the distance check, and signed Billing Acknowledgement to the City Secretary’s Office located on 7th Floor to complete the City’s portion of the permit. 

The City Secretary will not sign off on the TABC license unless we have all documentation listed above.
