New water and sewer mains will be installed along Jacksboro Highway in an area bound by Roadrunner Road to the west and north, Surfside Drive to the east and Ella Young Drive to the south.
The area impacted includes:
Roadrunner Road from 3,000 feet west of the Jacksboro Highway/Surfside Drive intersection, then to the west 2,000 feet (water);
Jacksboro Highway from Roadrunner Road to Surfside Drive (water and sewer);
Surfside Drive from Watercress Drive to Jacksboro Highway (sewer);
Sommerville Place Road from Ella Young Drive to Tyler Place (sewer);
Tyler Place from Ella Young Drive to Sommerville Place Road (sewer).
This capital improvement project is in Fort Worth Council District 7 and borders the city of Lakeside. Construction may impact the Scenic Shores neighborhood association and Northwest Fort Worth Neighborhood Alliance area.
The Fort Worth Water Department is hosting a community construction meeting on Thursday, October 24, for the Lakeside Area Water and Sewer Improvement project. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Fort Worth Police Department Mounted Patrol Facility at 1901 N Las Vegas Trail. New water and sewer mains will be installed along Jacksboro Highway in an area bound by Roadrunner Road to the west and north, Surfside Drive to the east and Ella Young Drive to the south. This project is in Fort Worth Council District 7 and it borders the Town of Lakeside.
