Street & Transportation Improvements

This project will reconstruct Meandering Road from 4 lanes to 3 lanes, realign the intersection at Roberts Cut Off, construct intersection improvements at Yale Street and LTjg Barnett, add sidewalks within project limits and bike lanes on LTjg Barnett.

This project is in partnership with TxDOT and the City of River Oaks.

This project is located in Council District 7.

 

March 2025 Project Update

  • The design of this project is 95% complete. Environmental approval through TxDOT has been completed.
  • We are working on the utility relocation and ROW acquisition phases now. A few ROW parcels are required in Fort Worth and many are required in the City of River Oaks.
  • Right now, we expect to open bids for the project at the end of this year and start construction in spring of next year.
