Christine Stutz joined the City Attorney’s Office in September 2022. Stutz represents the City of Fort Worth in employment-related matters, including discrimination and whistleblower lawsuits and civil service and disciplinary appeals. She also assists department managers and Human Resources personnel with day-to-day employment issues, such as allegations of employee misconduct and reasonable accommodations.
Prior to working for the City, Ms. Stutz worked as a Deputy County Attorney- Senior Counsel in the Civil Services Division of the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, Litigation and Human Resources Practice Groups, for approximately ten years. She represented County departments and elected offices in a wide variety of litigation, as well as provided advice to County management on employment and policy related matters. Prior to working for Maricopa County, she spent seven years working for the City of Mesa, Arizona, in the Civil Division as an Assistant City Attorney in both the litigation and administrative practice areas. She began her legal career in private practice where she spent five years working in the areas of construction and employment litigation.
