Village Creek WRF Digester Mixing, Flare, Dome Improvements Phase 1

Phase 1 of the Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility Digester Mixing, Flare and Dome Improvements will include the following major work items:

  • New pumped mixing systems, overflow box repairs, and dome rehabilitation for Digester Nos. 1-6
  • New gas safety equipment for Digester Nos. 1-14
  • Digester Control Building No. 1 electrical switchgear improvements including architectural rehabilitation and replacement of HVAC
  • Two new digester gas flares, a condensate vault, and 30-inch low pressure digester gas pipeline
  • A new, three-vessel hydrogen sulfide removal system
  • Two new refrigerate gas dryers and chillers
  • Additive alternate bid items, including:
  • dome rehabilitation for Digester Nos. 7-8,
  • replacement of electrical transformers PA9 and PA10 including switchgear, and
  • brick investigation and repairs at Digester Nos. 1 – 6

Prebid Notification

PREBID CONFERENCE – In Person – will be held as discussed in Section 00 21 13 - INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS at the following date, and time:

If a prebid conference is held, the presentation and any questions and answers provided at the prebid conference will be issued as an Addendum to the call for bids. If a prebid conference is not being held, prospective bidders can e-mail questions or comments in accordance with Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders referenced above to the project manager(s) at the e-mail addresses listed below .
