Celebrate Lei Day with us!

Join us to learn how to create beautiful Hawaiian ribbon lei.

The lei is a symbol of “aloha”, which means ‘presence of breath’ or ‘breath of life’. Hawaiian lei are given during special occasions such as birthdays, weddings and graduations. Lei Day has been celebrated in Hawaii since 1927.

As part of the cultural fiber of Fort Worth, your library creates spaces and opportunities for conversations and exploration. We created this cultural program for adults to enjoy.
