Thomas Place Community Center

thomasplacecc.jpg

Thomas Place Community Center was once a schoolhouse, and its deep red façade perfectly complements the bricks on nearby Camp Bowie Boulevard. The center feels like an extension of your living room – if your living room had a playground, a basketball court, and all kinds of entertaining activities for everyone in the family. Thomas Place’s small size inspires a sense of comfort and community – the neighborhood is walkable and intimate, and regulars know the center staff by name (and vice versa). But don’t let its size fool you when it comes to the center’s fitness room, which is well-stocked with commercial-grade exercise equipment.
