Local social service agencies interested in receiving Housing & Urban Development grant funds are encouraged to attend one of two free trainings to learn the ins and outs of completing a HUD grant application. The workshops are for established social service agencies and nonprofits serving or seeking to serve low- to moderate-income residents in Fort Worth.

Register for one of two workshops:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Thursday, Oct. 21, 1-4 p.m.

Both trainings will be held at Trinity Habitat for Humanity, 9333 N. Normandale St. There is no charge, but online registration is required.

The workshop will cover grant application basics, potential funding opportunities, how to use the application management tool and the request for proposal process and scoring, among other best practices and advice.
