Meeting to discuss District 8 water, sewer improvements

Come hear the City’s plans to replace existing water and sewer mains. The affected streets are:

  • Beverly Avenue from 310 feet south of the Richmond Avenue/Beverly Avenue intersection to 770 feet north (sewer)
  • Harvey Avenue from New York Avenue to Mississippi Avenue (water and sewer).
  • Alley between East Allen Avenue and Elmwood Avenue from New York Avenue to Mississippi Avenue (sewer).
  • Alley between Ramsey Avenue and Marion Avenue from the Union Pacific Railroad right of way to 2,300 feet west (sewer).
  • Alley between Robert Street and Colvin Avenue from Mississippi Avenue to the Union Pacific Railroad right of way (sewer).
  • Alley between Judd Street/Talton Avenue and Cantey Street from Yuma Street to South Riverside Drive (sewer).
  • Alley between East Mulkey Street and Robert Avenue from South Riverside Drive to 1,300 feet west (sewer).
  • Alley between East Morningside Drive and Glen Garden Drive from Mississippi Avenue to 2,300 feet west (sewer).
  • Easement between Belzise Terrace and Cobb Park Drive from 160 feet south of the Glen Garden Drive/Cobb Park intersection to 2,035 feet northeast (sewer, inside Cobb Park).
  • Easement north of the Belzise Terrace/Colvin Avenue intersection from Belzise Terrace to 700 feet east (sewer, inside Cobb Park).
  • Easement between Belzise Terrace and Cobb Park Drive from Morningside Drive to 230 feet east (sewer, inside Cobb Park).

This project is in Council District 8. Construction will impact the Morningside neighborhood association and United Communities association.
