Carter Park, Oak Grove, Oakland and more Water and Sewer Improvements

Existing water and sanitary sewer mains will be replaced in streets and easements in an area that is east of I-35W, south of I-30, west of East Loop 820 South, and north of I-20.

The streets include Oakland Boulevard, Pate Drive, Briarwood Lane, Bessie Street, East Tucker Street, Berke Road, and Carter Park Drive.

Cast iron water mains will be replaced in:

• Pate Drive
• Briarwood Lane
• Tucker Street
• And Berke Road. 

This project is in Fort Worth Council District 11, Fort Worth Council District 8 and Fort Worth Council District 9.  

Council District 11

• Oakland Boulevard from 255 feet north Lancaster Avenue to north 875 feet (sewer)
• Pate Drive from Hardeman Street to Killian Street (water and sewer)
• Briarwood Lane from Jenson Road to Wilson Road (water and sewer)
• Easement south of Meadowbrook Drive from a location on Sargent Street/615 feet south of the Meadowbrook Drive/Sargent Street intersection to east 255 feet (sewer)
• Easement between Oakland Boulevard and Sargent Street  from 255 feet north of East Lancaster Avenue to north 120 feet (sewer)
• Easement north of Lancaster Avenue from a location on Oakland Boulevard - 240 feet north of the Lancaster Avenue/Oakland Boulevard intersection, then to the west 500 feet to Sargent Avenue (sewer)

These segments are in the Central Meadowbrook neighborhood association, West Meadowbrook, Neighborhoods of East Fort Worth and Fairhaven neighborhood association areas.

• Tucker Street from South Virginia Avenue to Luxton Street (water)
• Berke Road from East Broadus Street to East Seminary Drive (water)
• Carter Park Drive from 405 feet south of Arrowwood Drive to 320 feet north of East Broadus Street (sewer)
• Easement between Berke Road and Sahara Place from 260 feet north of East Broadus Street to north 305 feet (sewer)
• Easement west of Hall Street from Avenue G to South 350 feet (sewer)
• Easement between Berke Road and Sahara Place from 260 feet north of East Broadus Street to north 305 feet (sewer)

These segments are in the Glenwood Triangle neighborhood association, Historic Southside neighborhood association, Oakridge Terrace neighborhood association and United Communities Association.
