Painted Leather Jewelry

Mix and match color and texture, cut shapes from scrap leather and add details with paint pens to create your own custom leather jewelry. This free, hands-on class will teach you how to create unique earrings, necklaces or pins – the choice is yours! Guided by an expert jewelry designer, your ideas will take beautiful shape. 

Registration is required and begins on July 23There is space for up to 25 adults, age 18 and older. Please email LIB_AdultServices@fortworthtexas.gov to register. 

As a destination for discovery, your Fort Worth Public Library is a location for learners of any age. We designed this program for adults who want to create unique jewelry.

 

About the presenter 

Carolyn “Kiki” Marco is a Richardson-based multidisciplinary maker and educator who is passionate about repurposing materials in surprising and impactful ways. Her workshops focus on reducing waste and inspiring others to see possibilities in everyday materials. Marco is a former creative director for Fossil. She traded the corporate world to spend time helping others focus on creative experiences. In addition to hosting Kiki Knows Art workshops, she facilities classes at the Dallas Arboretum and guides families in the creative process during Open Studio sessions at the Dallas Museum of Art.
