The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) was created to keep City of Fort Worth families in their homes. This included rent, past due rent, utilities, past due utility payments and other housing expenses resulting from the coronavirus outbreak. Funding was provided by U.S. Treasury Department and Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs.
The City of Fort Worth ERAP program closed on March 31, 2022 and staff will continue to process applications until all the funds are exhausted.
What if I’ve already applied?
- Applications will be prioritized based on eviction status, income level, and application submission date.
