Job & Career Fairs

EnVision Center regularly invites area company representatives to career and job fairs hosted at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center designed to inform job seekers of job openings and opportunities. We encourage participants to be prepared and bring a least dozen copies of  their resume and cover letter.

Aspiring Young Lawyers Summer Camp

The Aspiring Young Lawyers Summer Camp introduces Tarrant County youth to the many roles lawyers and policymakers play in our society.  The camp is an opportunity for youth to observe and learn some of the necessary skills required to become future lawyers, judges and protectors of the judicial system.

Law lectures include topics such as Criminal Law, Trial Advocacy, Tort Law, Civil Procedure, Law School Academia/Competition Preparation, Family Law, Immigration, Public Office and preparing opening and closing arguments for a mock trial.  

The camp is sponsored by the L. Clifford Davis Legal Association, in partnership with the City of Fort Worth EnVision Center, and held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. 

Financial Empowerment

The Fort Worth EnVision Center teams up with area agencies to host Financial Empowerment seminars to educate the community on making positive decisions for financial stability and well-being. 

The emotional component of personal finances is just as important. When people feel more financially empowered, they also feel more confident in making decisions to change the trajectory of their lives. Sessions include steps to help people overcome financial roadblocks, increase their income, pay off debt and save for their financial goals.

Tuition Assistance Program

Provides tuition assistance to eligible residents of Fort Worth and HUD-assisted housing for job training and short-term certifications. The City of Fort Worth EnVision Center has received funding to assist income-eligible residents who want to advance their education and employment. Education programs are offered through partnerships with:

• Tarrant County College
• Stone Academy
• Goodwill Industries
• CLC Inc.
• Various Tarrant County education, civic, faith-based and community partners

The EnVision Center negotiates the agreement with the education providers who will receive payment directly. No out-of-pocket cost for those enrolled.

We empower individuals through guided case management support and tuition assistance to gain skills, earn credentials, and achieve long-term financial stability.

Assistance can help cover tuition costs for:

• Workforce training

• Short-term certifications

• High school equivalency completion

• Apprenticeships

• Literacy education

• ESL programs

Enrolled clients may also be eligible to receive assistance with:

• Books and supplies

• Uniforms and clothing

• Laptops

• Tools and equipment

• Rent and utility assistance

 Transportation

Maximum benefit limit of $6,000 per person.
