The Property Management Department (PMD) consists of four divisions including Facilities Management, Fleet Services, General Services, and Real Estate.
The Facilities Management Division is responsible for planning, development, utilization and maintenance of the majority of City facilities. This includes but is not limited to architectural and construction management services Citywide.

The Fleet Services Division is charged with maintaining the City’s fleet and is budgeted and accounted for in the Equipment Services Fund.

Ricky Salazar was born and raised in Fort Worth and was named Interim Director of the Property Management Department (PMD) in July 2023. He began with the City and PMD as a Land Agent in July 2015, and has also held the positions of Senior Land Agent, Real Property Manager and Assistant Director of PMD’s Real Estate Division. Ricky is a graduate of Texas Tech University and has been involved in the real estate market since childhood. Ricky has a deep-rooted connection to this city and is passionate about contributing to its growth and development.
