This project involves replacing the E. Long Avenue bridge deck over the railroad. 

In addition, the road approaching this location will be upgraded. 

This project is located in Council Districts 2 & 11.

July 2025 Project Status 

• The outer eastbound lane on the bridge will be closed for the contractor to complete one last work item.
• Riprap installation - or the process of placing a layer of large stones known as "riprap"- is happening on the southeast area of the East Long Avenue bridge to prevent erosion.
