An existing sewer main that runs through The Golf Club Fossil Creek will be rehabilitated and a new sewer main will be constructed. The affected area includes Big Fossil Creek Bridge from Western Center Boulevard to North Beach Street.

The new 54-inch in diameter sewer main will be constructed to run parallel to the current sewer main. The current main will remain in service as the new line is being constructed.

Once the new sewer line is in the contractor will rehabilitate the existing 24-inch or 27-inch vitrified clay sewer main using trenchless methods, then the existing sewer service connections will be restored.

This capital improvement project is in Council District 4.
