The Building Standards Division consists of the Substandard Buildings Section and the Multifamily Registration & Inspection Program. Substandard Buildings Code Officers inspect residential and commercial structures, while Multifamily Code Officers focus on apartment complexes and properties with three or more units.

 

The Neighborhood Investigations Division consists of neighborhood Code Officers who investigate such violations as high grass and weeds, open and vacant structures, junk vehicles, accumulation of debris, contaminated bulk waste and zoning issues.
