A fan favorite for more than a decade. Jazz is back in Fort Worth!


Fans of all ages are invited to free online jazz events on the third Thursdays of each month.  Subscribe to our YouTube channel for reminders and mark your calendars for 3rd Thursday through October.


May 2021

3rd Thursday Jazz starts May 20 virtually with a 30 minute reprise of select 2020 performances. To accommodate current health and safety precautions our monthly jazz performances will be virtual through the Summer.

June 2021

Sheran Keyton and the Joe Rogers Trio have been wowing audiences for more than two decades. Their paths collided while working as regulars at a Fort Worth based theater company, Jubilee Theater. Since that time, they have gone on to play many of the hottest spots in DFW. Individually, they each boast amazing careers that range from international travel to composing, arranging, and instructing. Collectively, they make up a combination that will blow you away.

July 2021

Tatiana Mayfield with arms outstretched Refreshing and beautiful are how many have described the voice and persona of Tatiana “LadyMay” Mayfield, a jazz vocalist, musician, composer, and educator from Fort Worth, Texas. “LadyMay” (as she has been named) has been singing and playing jazz music since the tender age of thirteen. Since then, she has performed in various venues and festivals throughout the U.S., which in turn have earned her rave reviews from listeners and musicians in addition to numerous awards.

August 2021

This concert will be live and outdoors at East Regional Library.>

The East Fort Worth Community Jazz Band (EFWCJB) was formed on November 11, 2014 with the support of the East Fort Worth Community.  The EFWCJB is a non-profit organization providing a venue for young and seasoned musicians to improve their musical talents and perform for the community. A volunteer organization of approximately 30 accomplished musicians from all parts of the Metroplex, some who have played all their lives and others who have rediscovered their instruments and all share a passion for music.



September 2021

This concert will be performed at the Northside branch library in Circle Park. 

Join us on Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their own comfort.

October 2021

Our final concert of this year's 3rd Thursday Jazz Concert Series is a double-header, with RL Paschal Jazz Ensemble and The Western Flyers performing, starting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at Burnett Park, 501 W. 7th St., in Downtown Fort Worth!
