Installation of a three-lane undivided concrete pavement section from Park Vista to Lauren Way. Improvements include:
Street lights
10' sidewalks
Traffic signal at Woodland Springs
Storm water drainage
This project is in Council District 10.
The contractor has finished the waterline work. The contractor is restoring the pavement and sidewalk and will open the three lanes and sidewalk from Lauren Way to Katy Road as the concrete cures.
The contractor has completed both culverts, and they are open to traffic. The contractor will be installing a storm drain near the Woodland Springs intersection and the Lauren Way intersection through February. Will look to keep two-way traffic when possible.
The contractor was able to open Keller Hicks to two-way traffic while they we not working around the Holidays. There is insufficient room for two-way traffic to remain during the remaining construction activities. Expect to encounter one-way traffic for much of the remaining construction period.
The contractor will begin grading and paving activities after the storm drain is complete. Expect to see the North side of the road paved first, then the south side. Grading and Pavement construction will require one-way traffic. Expect to see paving activities through early fall 2026, with sidewalk, illumination, and traffic signal to follow.
