Due to rising water levels, Lake Worth will close today. The water level has reached the threshold of 595.5 feet and will close to all visitors including all boat ramps. Water and/or sewer mains will be replaced on four streets in the West Meadowbrook area. All City-owned lead service lines will also be removed and replaced. The streets will be restored following construction. The affected streets include: Mount Vernon Avenue from Sanborn Street to Newark Avenue; Crestview Drive from Meadowbrook Drive to Oakland Boulevard; Sanderson Avenue from Mount Vernon Avenue to Purington Avenue; Newark Avenue from Mount Vernon Avenue to East Lancaster Avenue.
