This large City project is comprehensive and involves major improvements along Trinity Boulevard.
Phase 1 - from Loop 820 to Salado Trail.
This section of roadway will be reconstructed as a four-lane, divided concrete arterial. This project includes a landscaped median, multi-use trails on each side of the roadway and drainage system improvements.
A roundabout will be constructed at the entrance to the Trinity Lakes Development and a traffic signal will be reconstructed at the Salado Trail intersection. After project completion, Trinity Boulevard will no longer be in a floodplain.
Phase 2 - from Salado Trail to Thames Trail.
A four-lane, divided concrete arterial is planned for this section of Trinity Boulevard. A landscaped median, multi-use trails on each side of the road, drainage improvements and water and sewer lines will be constructed.
This project is in Council District 5.

Contractor will pave the remaining east connection of North Lanes at Thames Trail. Contractor will look to have traffic on remaining North Lanes by end of December.
Contractor will start grading and paving South Lanes in January 2026. Expect to see Seguin Trail closed to traffic at times for grading and paving.
