Our mission is to educate and engage Fort Worth residents and businesses to take responsibility for improving their community environment. We encourage our residents, businesses and visitors to become a volunteer to help prevent litter and make a difference in our community - all ages and abilities welcome!

Join us for exciting Earth Week events during the month of April!

     

Earth Day began in 1970 as a way for citizens to focus and mobilize for environmental change. The City of Fort Worth and partners are hosting a variety of events leading up to Earth Day this year. Join them and learn how simple actions can help our planet! 

     

April 13: Movies That Matter

Watch the April  Screening of "Wasted! the Story of Food Waste."

Fort Worth Modern Art Museum

7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

April 15: Build Your Own Raised Beds

Learn how to reduce transportation emissions from your food. 

Fort Worth Botanic Garden

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

April 20: Green School Student Showcase with Artes de la Rosa

Month of April: "Green" Classes Hosted by Fort Worth Library

The Fort Worth Library is hosting a variety of “green” classes. Recycle yogurt cups into planters, play upcycled games, or join environmental story times. Find classes at your local library, or click here for a calendar of events
