The North Texas FWC Organizing Committee and the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is leading the transportation planning coordinating closely with transit agencies, airports and municipalities.

Match day operations

NCTCOG, the Cities of Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Trinity Metro, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Trinity Railway Express (TRE) are working together to ensure efficient, dependable travel options for spectators and event personnel. This includes new multimodal connections and special event transit services designed specifically for FIFA World Cup 2026 operations.

The region’s extensive freeway and highway system will give fans multiple options to drive to the stadium for events, with parking options available.

Match day transit

Ticket holders can ride the TRE from Fort Worth or Dallas to CentrePort Station. From there, they will take a charter bus to the Bus Hub, the designated transit drop-off zone near the stadium. Fans will then have a short, half mile walk to the entrance.

Rideshare

Spectators can also use rideshare services to attend matches. The Esports Stadium Arlington lot has been designated as the rideshare lot for rideshare companies to operate pick-up and drop-off.

Sundance Square

• June 11 – 19: World Cup Celebration at Sundance Plaza – a free multi-week event this summer during the World Cup. All games will be broadcast on the large screens, with music between matches and soccer-related activities. Learn more

FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas

• July 11 – 19: Experience FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas as the ultimate free, open‑to‑all home base for World Cup fans, where Fair Park transforms into a 1‑million‑square‑foot celebration packed with live match broadcasts, concerts, games, food, and culture. Learn more.

Sundance Square road closures

Stadium road closures

AT&T Way will be closed from Cowboys Way to Randol Mill Road. Cowboys Way will be closed from N. Collins Street to AT&T Way. A portion of Nolan Ryan Expy from Road to Six Flags to south entrance of hotel will be closed to accommodate match day operations.

Dallas road closures

To accommodate ongoing construction at the KBHCCD, the following streets have been closed: Lamar Street from Ceremonial on the north to the parking lot access point on the south side, Memorial Drive from Lamar Street to Hotel Street. The Lamar Bridge, Akard Street, and Hotel Street are also closed. FIFA plans to fully close Griffin Street between Canton Street & Ceremonial Drive from May 26 until July 23, 2026.

Centreport road closures

A portion of Statler Boulevard from Breezewood Drive to Cottage view Lane will be closed to accommodate match day operations. Statler Boulevard is just north of the TRE CentrePort Station parking lot.
