Whitney Rodriguez is Chief of Staff for the Mayor and City Council. A servant leader with a heart for local government, she has served the City of Fort Worth for over 20 years.

Before joining the Mayor and Council team in 2020, Rodriguez made her mark on the City in a variety of leadership roles, serving both the Park & Recreation and Communications & Public Engagement departments. Her experience includes work in administration, communications, community building and management.

Rodriguez holds a Master of Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Public Budgeting and Financial Management from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas Tech University.

Christianne Simmons was named chief transformation officer for the City of Fort Worth in December 2023.

Previously, she served as assistant director of The FWLab, with a focus on the City’s $2.6 billion operating budget and the implementation of priority-based budgeting.

Bonycle Sokunbi is the City's Director of the Office of the Police Oversight Monitor. In this role, she provides oversight to the Fort Worth Police Department and communicates key insights to stakeholders, including City Council, police leadership and associations, and the wider community.

Prior to her City of Fort Worth tenure, Sokunbi played a pivotal role in reshaping policing practices in New Orleans. Under her leadership as Deputy Police Monitor, the New Orleans Police Department adopted more robust standards regarding the use of force, handling civil disturbances, tear gas deployment and neck holds.

Sokunbi graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, earning a Barristers Award for her stellar mock trial skills.

Reginald Zeno, Financial Management Services

Reginald (Reggie) Zeno joined the City of Fort Worth in June 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer/Director of the Financial Management Services Department.

In addition to this role, he also currently serves as a Board Trustee for the Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund.
