Johnson oversees the Emergency Management & Communications, Fire, Municipal Court, and Police Departments.
Before accepting the position in 2019, Johnson served as Streets Commissioner for the City of Philadelphia, DOT Director for the City of Baltimore and Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Public Works Commissioner for the City of Atlanta.
He has also held senior leadership positions in private industry specializing in Emergency Services.
