Emergency Communications

The Emergency Communications Division is Fort Worth’s first line of response in any emergency, connecting residents with Police, Fire, and EMS resources 24/7. As part of the City’s Emergency Management & Communications Department, we ensure every call is answered, every request is heard, and every incident is coordinated efficiently.

Each year, our team processes over 1.2 million phone calls from the community, turning them into actionable responses for public safety. From emergency medical calls to fire incidents and police support, we work around the clock to ensure the right help reaches the right place at the right time.

Our mission is simple: every call matters. By centralizing operations, modernizing technology, and streamlining protocols, we continue to improve response times, enhance coordination among first responders, and deliver a safer, more connected Fort Worth.
