The City of Fort Worth and its partner agencies are ready to help renters fill out an application for emergency rental assistance. Funding is available for rent, past due rent, utilities, past due utility payments and other housing expenses related to the coronavirus outbreak.

The program’s goal is to keep families in their homes and to help as many people as possible before an eviction moratorium is lifted July 31. Renters may be eligible for help if they’ve qualified for unemployment, experienced a reduction in household income or had other financial hardship due to COVID-19.

Applications are available online along with a list of frequently asked questions. When you’re ready to get started, call 817-392-7540, make an in-person appointment or email your questions.
